［概要と目標］
所望の機能を発揮する工業製品を製造するためには、設計を具現化する材料加工は最重要な工程のひとつに位置付けられる。そこで本講義では、工業材料の主要な加工法である、除去加工、塑性加工および溶融・接合加工等の各種加工法について、その原理と特徴から最新の加工法を理解する。また最新の加工技術を調査する方法、それを他人に説明する能力、最新の技術に対して質問をする能力を身につける。

The suitable structure and strength design are important to produce industrial products having a useful function. In addition, the material processing is also the important process for manufacture of engineering products. The aim of this lecture is to deeply understand the main material processing, such as removal processing, plastic deformation processing, and melt processing.
[到達目標]
１：工業製品の製造に用いられる各種加工法の分類と特徴を説明できる。
２：除去加工、変形加工、付加加工の機構を説明できる
３：除去加工、変形加工、付加加工を含めものづくりのあらゆる加工技術の最新の動向を調べ、専門外の人にも分かるように説明できる。
４：新しい加工技術に対して、疑問を持ち、質問できる。

1:To understand the characteristic and classification of the processing methods for the manufacturing of engineering products.
2:To understand the mechanism and characteristic of all types of manufacturing technology.
3: Be able to research the latest trends in all types of manufacturing technology and explain them to non-specialists.
4: Be able to ask and answer questions about the presentation.
［必要知識・準備］
機械工作法、材料力学、塑性加工および工業材料の基礎を習得していること。
Fundamental knowledge of material mechanics, plastic deformation, and industrial materials of undergraduate level.
