［概要と目標］
本講義では、学部科目「コンピュータネットワーク」で学んだ技術をより詳細かつ深く理解するとともに、ネットワークの普遍的な原理（principles）を学ぶことで、新たなネットワーク技術の研究に活かすことを目的とする。 世界的に広く用いられている教科書『Computer Networking: A Top-Down Approach』に沿って講義を進める。 This course aims to deepen students' understanding of networking technologies covered in the undergraduate course "Computer Networks" and to explore the fundamental principles underlying their development. Students are expected to apply these principles to their research on emerging networking technologies. Note that this course follows the internationally recognized textbook "Computer Networking: A Top-Down Approach."
[到達目標]
1. インターネットの構成技術を、実際の動作レベルまで詳細に理解する。 2. 現在利用されている技術にとどまらず、その背後にある普遍的な原理を理解する。 3. 普遍的な原理に基づき、新たなネットワーク技術の評価・開発に必要な知見を身につける。 1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the architectural components of the Internet and their detailed operational mechanisms. 2. Understand the fundamental principles of networking that extend beyond currently deployed technologies. 3. Develop the ability to evaluate and design new networking technologies based on these principles.
［必要知識・準備］
学部で「コンピュータネットワーク」に相当する単位を修得していることが望ましい。 講義では学部レベルの基本事項を詳細には扱わないため、必要に応じて教科書を事前に読み、復習・予習を行うこと。 It is recommended that students have completed the undergraduate course Computer Networks or an equivalent course. Since basic topics covered at the undergraduate level will not be reviewed in detail, students should review the relevant sections of the textbook in advance as needed.
［評価基準］
No 評価項目 割合 評価の観点 1 小テスト／レポート  100  % 各章の講義が終了した翌週に小テストを行う。最終章 (6章) はレポートとする。/ A quiz will be given after each chapter, with Chapter 6 assessed by a report.

The schedule for the special lecture by an industry researcher is still being coordinated and can be subject to change. This lecture will be conducted in Japanese.
