<授業の目的>
PhD candidates are expected to understand the connection between research and application and make actions for creating an innovation. In this class, students can gain the basic knowledge of management of technology, technology transfer process, and Japanese, US research background. Also, students can aquire the advenced abilities of entrepreneurship mindset such as ideation, business model canvas, making pitch decks to help commercializing research results to the marketplace by communication skills. Those abilities will support the PhD candidates to be flexible and resilient in the age of diverse and complication.

<実務経験のある教員による授業科目の概要>
Eri Hoshi has 12 years of experience working at the University of New Mexico’s Tech Transfer & Economic Development office (UNM Rainforest Innovations) as Invention Disclosure Coordinator, Intellectual Property coordinator, Economic Development Manager, and International University Ventures Manager in the USA. She founded her own company as an entrepreneur to run and operate entrepreneurship program for Japanese universities. She will teach a course based on her experiences and skills aquired at UNM.
