This course will be delivered online by means of interactive lectures with student presentations and student-led discussions in English. The weekly interactive lectures will introduce the key topics for discussion and provide the context for theoretical models and key terms of study. These sessions will establish the broad principles, concepts and definitions as the basis for further discussions and presentations. The students will be expected to submit their weekly Learning Journals on Moodle system in principle.
<受講に際して・学生へのメッセージ>
1. Students are encouraged to engage with self-monitoring and critical thinking in preparation for the assessment.
2. Students are expected to participate actively in class activities, to keep a written Learning Journal and to carry out independent reading and research in addition to classroom based learning. Attendance is absolutely critical to meeting the overall objective of the course.
3. We can all learn from each other and even teach each other, through our own experiences and reflections about culture in various communication contexts. Therefore, the discussions can be a great leaning experience, if everyone in the class gets into them. Respect for every student''''''''s experience and opinion will be expected.
