<授業の目的>
Students will learn basic knowledge about effective foreign language learning methods. Students will also get the chance to think about three topics from different points of view. These are the topics: 1. Effectiveness in learning foreign languages, 2. Factors related to learning foreign languages, and 3. How to control foreign language learning factors.

1教養批評力学んだ内容を自らの言葉で的確に論評・伝達できる。
2汎用能力1・コミュニケーションスキル口頭発表力自分の意見を、一定の論理的根拠を伴って、わかりやすく話すことができる。
34・論理的思考力情報を多面的・客観的にとらえ、筋道を立てて根拠を示しながら説明できる。
45・問題解決力省察力取り組みを評価し、解決方法や計画を改善できる。
<授業の方法>
This class will be composed of lectures given by the instructor and small-group discussions. Students must submit their Learning Journal after every class. In the final parts of this course, students will give a presentation in a small group. This will be a group project.



※授業実施の形態:
「ライブ型(Zoom、Teams等テレビ会議システムを利用。同時双方向リアルタイム動画配信授業)」、または「面接授業」
「面接授業」の場合は、
・マスクを着用させ、学生間の距離は1m 以上離す。
・定期的に窓を開けて、換気を行う。
・授業前後に手洗い・手指消毒を徹底する。
<成績評価の方法>
No評価項目割合評価の観点
1小テスト/レポート 40  %Learning Journals/ Students will be judged based on how well they understand the lectures and how well they can use what they learn in their foreign language studies. 
2受講態度 20  %Active participation/Students will be judged based on how often they try to express their ideas, not how fluently they can speak English. 
3発表/表現等 40  %Group Projects/Students will be judged on how creatively they use what they learn from class in their group project. 
<受講に際して・学生へのメッセージ>
It is very difficult to explain how students can effectively learn foreign languages. However, if you learn about factors related to your foreign language learning and how to control these factors, then you will learn a foreign language more efficiently.
The instructor is a specialist of student anxiety, and he will design anxiety-free lessons. So, please feel free to join this class.
