＜授業の目的＞

自然な速さの英語を聞いて、その要点を正しく理解できる力を身につける。また、聴き取った内容や与えられたテーマについて平易な英語を使って口頭で説明できる力を身につける。

＜到達目標＞ 到達目標とは

「異文化理解と英語リテラシー」
・200語程度の自然な速さの英語を聞いて、要点を正しく理解することができる。
・聴き取ったことや、与えられたテーマについて、英語で3分間程度、口頭で説明できる。

＜授業の方法＞

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the need for interaction in a language-learning class, this is now an online (on demand) course. This means that primarily we will be using MOODLE and some Zoom. The grade breakdown is NOT as shown below. Your grade will be determined by ALL of the questions, forums, assignments and quizzes done throughout the course as shown on MOODLE. Therefore, we will NOT be meeting in a classroom.

The materials for the class will be provided by the teacher. No textbook will be used. This class should expose you to genuine English in a stimulating and enjoyable context. You should end up speaking English with more confidence, as well as gaining very useful listening, reading and writing skills. I hope you will find this both motivating and fun.
