＜授業の目的および概要＞

|
The purpose of this class will be to encourage students to state their own opinions on the subjects taken up in the text and also current topics of interest.
|
|
＜授業の方法＞
|
|
The classes will be conducted following the textbook. Current topics from newspapers will be taken up and the student will be asked to write a report on the topic taken up.
|
|
＜成績評価の方法＞
|
|
Participation in the class will be a must. A final examination will be given which will be 50% of the grade. The remaining 50% will be made up of the participation and the reports.

|
The students will be asked to speak up in class. They will be called on constantly and be expected to answer in English.
