＜授業の目的および概要＞
The purpose of this class will be to have the student get used to writing　English. The text that will be used encourages the student to learn to state his own ideas. It takes up statements made by famous persons and has the student comment on them.
＜授業の方法＞
The classes will be conducted following the textbook. The student will be asked to hand in his comments on the statements of the person for each unit of the book.
＜成績評価の方法＞
Students will be graded on the comments handed in. A final examination will be given where the student will be asked to write comments on statements assigned beforehand.
＜受講に際して・学生へのメッセージ＞
The student will be asked to write as often as possible. He or she will be asked to memorize as much vocabulary as possible so that writing comments on the final examination will be possible without the use of a dictionary.
