The aim of this class is to prepare students to become successful language learners by developing language learning skills necessary for studying abroad at the tertiary level.

• To understand the culture of the language classrooms abroad • To understand academic English by listening to recordings of academic lectures • To learn effective notetaking techniques • To improve proficiency in topic discussion and presentation • To expand academic vocabulary through independent study • To increase confidence when communicating in English in the academic setting
＜授業の方法＞
• Workshops and presentations on language skills and learning skills • Listening to recordings of academic lectures in class and taking structured notes • Asking and answering questions, and sharing ideas through solo presentations • Learning the Academic Word List • Experience of foreign university course through interactive MOOC learning platforms
