＜対象学生＞

＜授業の目的＞
文法や語彙の基礎能力を基に、文章の概要を捉えるとともに、細部の情報を正確に理解する読解力を身につける。また、英文作成のプロセスを意識し、日常的な話題に関して自分の考えを英語で要約できるだけの表現力を身につける。
＜到達目標＞  到達目標とは
「異文化理解と英語リテラシー」 ・500-600語程度の英文を30分程度の時間で読み、文章の要点を正確に理解できる。 ・読み取ったことや、与えられたテーマについての自分の考えを平易な英語を用いて250語程度で書くことができる。
＜授業の方法＞
Students will read various short stories, both fiction and non-fiction, provided by the professor. Students will be asked to discuss the stories and a further writing assignment will be included--focusing on various writing skills.
