In this course, students will develop their communication skills through a variety of pair and group activities. Emphasis will be placed on developing speaking fluency, important communication structures, and communication strategies. In addition, critical thinking skills, reading skills, and vocabulary will also be improved.

A short speaking activity centered on a cartoon >> preview core vocabulary >> read to gather knowledge and improve reading skills >> discuss what was just read >> pair/group work to develop critical thinking skills >> short discussion activity
