| The purpose of this lecture is to identify basic concepts of 'River Basin Management' and to introduce the methodological approaches for analyzing and evaluating its natural and social impacts. At first, a conceptual framework for River Basin Management is discussed. Then, effective methodological approaches for evaluation of a river basin are introduced. Finally, some typical examples of the basin management for flood, sediment control and drought are presented. | ||||||||||||||||||
