＜授業の目的＞
文法や語彙の基礎能力を基に、文章の概要を捉えるとともに、細部の情報を正確に理解する読解力を育成する。また、日常的な話題に関して自分の考えを英語で要約したり、英文作成のプロセスを意識したりする作文力を育成する。
＜到達目標＞  到達目標とは

＜授業の方法＞
A passage will be read in class. Before reading, the main topic of the article and background information will be presented and an explanation will be given of some of the vocabulary necessary for understanding the passage. Questions will be asked and answered as the passage is being read. Advice will be given about how to recognize the essential points of the content

In addition to the class work referred to above, students may be asked to keep a short journal in English about recent events. The journal will be handed in to the teacher and returned corrected at a later date.<BR>Students should use class time well by participating positively and enthusiastically in the lessons. They should arrive at class in good time and prepare and review lessons thoroughly.
