This course is aimed at improving students ability to express themselves in English. Through guided instruction, students will have the opportunity to create and hold conversations with one another about various topics. For the final, students will be expected to give a PowerPoint presentation effectively and appropriately using the vocabulary, phrases and grammar taught in the course.
At the end of this course students will be able to:
• Have a five-minute conversation using only English
• Learn to "notice" new words and phrases in conversation
• Use verb tenses correctly to describe and talk about experiences

Students will spend class time in groups practicing conversation strategies and having practice conversations.
