The purpose of this class is to get students used to reading long passages and writing about them in English. I'm also a big believer in discussion and presentation, so we'll do conversations after the readings.
A lot of practice in changing word forms and using idioms will help students become better writers.
<授業の方法>
First we'll cover vocabulary and key concepts, then we'll go into the reading, then answer comprehension questions, do two short listening exercises and a page and a half of writing and grammar exercises. I usually use any leftover time for pair conversation.
