The student`s existing English language skills will be ascertained and areas of weakness will be worked on accordingly. An appropriate course book will be chosen and along with other materials will be utilised to expand upon the student`s working knowledge of the language.
The aim is for the students to become more confident and willing to use their English language skills. The students will be required to hand in a written assignment as well as sit an exam at the end of the course.
<授業の方法>
The first leson will be used to inform the students as to what will be expected of them and how the course is envisaged to progress. Basic question structures will be used to ascertain the students` ability and to share information allowing the students to get an idea of the class dynamics. Subsequent lessons will focus on areas of weakness in information aquisition through language with S/S question sessions at the start of each lesson. this will not only function as a warm up exercise but will also allow for some repetion allowing students to gian in confidence.

Language is a tool for communication and can be learnt by vertually anyone with a desire and the enthusiasm to do so. To that end, the course will be structured to the students` needs and methods and materials used will hopefully be interesting and inspiring.
