＜授業の目的および概要＞
This course is intended to improve students' abilities in speaking and listening in English, although there will be some attention given to reading and writing as well. The aim of this course is to motivate students to build their vocabulary and communication skills by using personal and cultural issues as starting points for discussion. Students will learn how to share personal opinions and ideas as they examine the customs, practices, and values of Japan and other countries.

No 重要度 目標 詳細 1   知識と視野 Students will improve their abilities in English communication through classroom discussions, assignments, and various projects. 2 ◎ 能力と技能 基礎学力を基に、語彙数３０００語の習得とさらなる受容技能の発展を目指す。４００〜６００語程度の英文を30分程度の時間で読み、文章の要点や求めされたポイントを正確に理解し、できれば自分の言葉である程度要点や理解できたことをまとめることができること、与えられたトピックについて自分の考えや意見を、できるだけ平易な表現を用いて２00語〜300程度の英語による文章を30分内に書くことができる。なお、英文作成と修正のプロセスも十分に周知すること。

This course will include various projects, presentations, and activities geared towards building English communication skills.
