Students will listen to and understand discussions on various everyday topics. <BR>Use these topics to exchange ideas with a partner.<BR>Build up vocablulary and a stock of useful expressions.<BR>Students will prepare a final presentation of their own choice on one of the weekly topics.
The purpose of this course is to improve English communication to enable you to express your ideas clearly in a short speech.

We will use interviews, discussion and listening exercises to produce a variety of topics. <BR>You will be evaluated on your class participation and two speeches: one short speech and a final speech. Attendance will be included in your final evaluation.

Students will choose their final presentation from the weekly topics discussed in class so attendance is important. Punctuality and lively participation in class will be expected from all students. All the classroom activities will be done in English so please check your Japanese at the door and make English your class tool !
