<授業の目的および概要>
There is more to communication than grammar and vocabulary, listening and speaking. This course in speech (public speaking) combines grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking activities with speech skills such as delivery, organization, and visuals.
<到達目標>
At the end of this course students will be able to:<BR>Deliver a presentation with acceptable posture, eye contact, and voice fluctuation<BR>Structure a presentation with an introduction, body, and conclusion<BR>Make and use a variety of visuals including graphs, diagrams, flow charts, and bullet charts
<授業の方法>
During this course students will learn and practice the different parts of giving a speech. Students will prepare and perform speeches in class for practice. Students will give feedback to each other on speeches, and some speeches will be videotaped to allow students to view their own speeches.
