＜授業の目的および概要＞
Basic grammar structures will be extensively explored to allow the students to gain confidence in their ability to use the English language. Various topics will be covered expanding the student's vocabulary and allowing individual input so as to facilitate different levels of ability.
＜授業の方法＞
Lessons will start with warm up questions and activities. The text book will then be used selectively to introduce grammar points which will be practiced through pair work and group work. I will use additional materials and activities to supplement the text book.

＜受講に際して・学生へのメッセージ＞
I want the students to feel confident with their ability to use basic English and be enthusiastic about practicing and expanding upon what they already know. Participation makes up a large percentage of the overall mark as it is very important if progress is to be made. Having a sound knowledge of grammar is a necessity and I hope to achieve this through well structured and enjoyable lessons.

＜授業計画の概要＞
I will start the first lesson with a concise self introduction and then allow the students to ask questions. I will then go through any resultant weak areas clarifying question structures. The students will then be given the chance to practice what they have learnt. The course content and evaluation method will be explained and the students can then clarify any points. Subsequent lessons will start with warm up questions and then move on to book related work supplemented by additional related material. Two to three weeks will be required at the end of the course to facilitate assignment presentation and examinations.
